The Chedi Hegra

Set within the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of Hegra, The Chedi Hegra brings together contemporary hospitality, historic architecture, and the extraordinary landscape of AlUla. The project sensitively integrates restored railway structures and heritage elements with a refined contemporary design, creating a unique dialogue between past and present. In collaboration with LEDFlex, I documented the architectural and lighting details throughout the property, focusing on how carefully integrated linear lighting enhances the architecture while preserving the character and atmosphere of the historic site. From the restored railway station and guest spaces to the pathways and distinctive architectural elements, the imagery captures the subtle relationship between light, material, and space. Through a combination of architectural photography, interior perspectives, and atmospheric imagery, the project highlights the precision and restraint behind LEDFlex’s lighting solutions, showcasing how contemporary lighting can complement heritage architecture without competing with its surroundings.
