AlKhuyala
A venue rooted in Saudi cultural identity requires understanding what the space is trying to communicate culturally before deciding how to represent it photographically. For AlKhuyala in Riyadh, I built the shoot around the atmospheric light conditions the venue uses to shape its character, working between the demands of atmosphere and legibility rather than choosing one at the expense of the other. Each frame was built to communicate the visual character of the space and its cultural specificity with equal clarity, serving the venue’s marketing and communications materials and recording the space at the standard it warrants.
