AlKhuyala

In Riyadh, Dimensions, a commercial and residential interior design and furnishing studio, brought Wajd Ramadan in to film Tal Plaza for its Alkhuyala project. The resulting 68-second piece, AlKhuyala, was directed, shot, edited, and color graded entirely by Ramadan, a single-author workflow that kept the pacing and color treatment consistent from first frame to final grade rather than handed off between separate specialists. Filming took place at Tal Plaza in Riyadh, the earlier of two films Ramadan produced for Dimensions on the Alkhuyala project, followed roughly two months later by a second piece, Malban, covering the project’s back yard. Together the two films form a short record of how Dimensions carried the Alkhuyala project from one commissioned space to the next.
