Als Gourmet

Riyadh’s established gourmet dining scene has a particular rhythm, and Als Gourmet sits comfortably within it. I photographed the full menu on location, lighting each dish specifically for the camera rather than accepting whatever the dining room offered. Nothing was over-arranged; nothing was placed on the plate that a guest wouldn’t find there. The images hold their colour and detail across printed menus and phone screens, where most diners will encounter them first.
