Bujairi Terrace
Immediately adjacent to At-Turaif, the UNESCO World Heritage mud-brick city at the heart of Diriyah, Bujairi Terrace occupies one of the most significant sites in the country. The context is not incidental to the brief; it is the brief. Produced with Handley House, I documented indoor and outdoor spaces across the complex, capturing not only individual venue architecture but the way the destination as a whole sits within and responds to the At-Turaif landscape. That spatial relationship is Bujairi Terrace’s most distinctive characteristic, and photography that fails to capture it fails to communicate what the place is.
