A residential project in Riyadh where spatial quality and material composition are the architecture itself, not merely the backdrop for decoration. I moved through living areas, dining spaces and private rooms with close attention to natural light conditions in each zone, working with available light wherever the space allowed. Natural light reveals the actual relationship between a room’s proportions and its surfaces in a way that supplemented lighting rarely does. The resulting body of work holds enough spatial information to read as architecture rather than as styled vignettes.
